Good place for work, will not make you travel to there for some job that is not available. Good place, secure and good place to meet and work with people from all over the world
Amazing hostel to complete your 88 days
Highly recommend The Globe Backpackers for anyone looking to complete their regional work!!! The owners Brian and Loretta are amazing people and will do whatever they can to help you during your stay and make you feel part of the family. Lots of well paid jobs, good accommodation and a place where you meet friends for life! Thank you Globe for such a great experience, you do such a fantastic job getting so many backpackers their second year visa!
Thanks for the scathing review Steph Babe. 4 things that might need clarifying thoughThere are insects in the country, there shouldnt be mice in rooms though There have been no vermin reports for some time?!If it wasnt for this hostel some of you wouldnt have even got an interview in the first place. We put in a lot of time and effort to help you secure a great job. We are a working hostel Not a free job agency. We get you jobs and we expect you to stay with us Its not rocket science. You didnt want to stay here so we didnt want you here. We returned your deposit and you left.The guy that had to sleep outside. He was never asked to leave, we had absolutely no idea he had even left That was comical.My husband and I are not aggressive. Lastly Not too sure if you are up to date with employing people in Australia but you can google it. On top of what you get paid (Gross amount), We as employers have to pay SUPERANNUATION, PAYROLL TAX, WORKERS COMPENSATION INSURANCE and PUBLIC LIABILTY INSURANCE. So, we dont take $4 an hour off people, these are fees we have to on pay to the government etc in order to adhere with Australian standards. Maybe you should get educated before making untrue accusations.Good luck with your travels
