this was perfect for our Griffith stay - clean, reasonable price and lovely space to spend time..air con was appreciated during the heat wave as was the local pool complex just across the road..good Location near to the main street.
Griffith Prestige Apartments are new, comfortable and very spacious. The kitchen has all the modern appliances you might need. There's a huge dining table which can be set for 8, if you feel like cooking dinner for friends. The beds are very comfortable, so you'll have a great night's sleep, and the bathroom is modern and minimalist in style (there's a second toilet in the laundry downstairs. Each apartment has a garage with an automatic door and there are gates to the complex that allow you to exit onto either Kookora St, or Wayeela St. Out back is a nice courtyard, though this will only really be useful for al fresco dining etc. during the cooler months. In Summer the heat and the mozzies will send you back inside quick-smart, but at least your washing will be dry in minutes. If you don't feel like cooking, it's only a few minutes walk to the top of Banna Avenue where you'll find the historic (and delicious) Belvedere Italian restaurant. Indian, Chinese, vegetarian options are also very close by. Another great convenience, particularly in Summer, is that the Griffith pool is right across the street ($6 per adult). If you like to go for a morning run, I recommend heading up Scenic drive to watch the sunrise with the wild goats (I thought this was a bit of a treat).Money saver hint: be ready your bank's phone app to pay via direct deposit, and avoid a 3% charge on credit card payment.
