We were excited to visit Griffith..The Hermits cave was amazing ..unfortunately the dumped rubbish ruined the walk...The rubbish ranged from fast food items to household items...that thave been there for a while. Does this area not get cleaned up..the rubbish is awful...its a tourist attraction..Any chance of watering the area to enhance the natural area..How great would it be to restore the garden..Then went to the visitors centre to buy books on the history of Griffith and the hermit...to be told out of circulation...how sad that a tourist destination has no information to purchase.The water park was great ...need another one...as the current one is too small for all the people that try to use it...Sleeping at the accom was ruined by various dogs barking day and night non stop..No foot paths on nature strips ..one is forced to walk on the road with a pram.If you try to park in the main street. Good luck as The upmarket class cars take up 2 car spots..

on a recent visit to Griffith we were disappointed when we took our Grand-kids to Griffith City park and were unable to use things such as the slides because they were too hot. in this day and age we thought the kids playground would have had more shade cover to avoid things like burns to young children and litigation. when i placed my hand on the slides i could only leave it there for seconds before it began to burn. parks and gardens might have to put some thought into this.
